Hashim Amla -Protea captain

Hashim Amla made his test debut on 28 November 2004 for the Proteas, South African National cricket team. Amla is the new South African captain and had success in his first test series which they won in Sri Lanka. He also became the first South African to score a century in Sri Lanka.
Amla is also known as the dictator and his record speaks for itself
-fastest man to reach 2000 runs in 40 innings
-fastest man to reach 3000 runs in 59 innings
-first South African to score a triple hundred
-only man in history to score 1000 runs in both test cricket and odi games in the same season
-fastest cricketer to reach 10 centuries in odi matches- in 23 matches
Amla is a class act and will take it much further than many hoped for.
